Free Agent is a TTRPG that leans into hard science fiction while still keeping some of the fantastical technology that is expected from a far future setting. It is a gritty, lived-in universe that has it’s own share of problems and societal issues, compounded by the existence of alien races and power games (subtle and unsubtle) among those races for dominance over resources and territory. Compounded even more by the various sub-factions and corporations that also fight over those same resources and territory. It is a universe where large swaths of space have yet to be explored by the factions that claim ownership of them because those same owners needed to make the claim or someone else would. It is a place where opportunities abound for those that have the skill and the equipment, and are willing to get their hands dirty.
The system will be a multi-d6 system, that can work with either grid style or theater of the mind combat.
